Mr. Hari Sharan Subedi, Managing Director, A.D. Release Pvt. Ltd., Nepal’s largest media agency. Mr. Subedi has contributed over 20 years to Nepal’s media and advertising industry, and in the past decade, he has led a team of media enthusiasts to build an enterprise that has ushered in a host of interventions in Nepal’s television industry. From introducing reality shows such as the Idol and the Voice franchises in Nepal to recently completing. Super Dancer Nepal season 1 (including a guest appearance by renowned Bollywood actor Mr. Govinda), Mr. Subedi has led the offering of attractive and innovative content in Nepal’s TV industry which also include Nepal’s local reality shows and TV series to promote Nepali actors and artists. He has also been at the forefront of changing how TV stations market themselves, having led them towards substantial revenue growth through the introduction of innovative advertising segments including on-screen advertising and sponsored segments across news and programs of leading Nepali TV stations. He is currently an executive member in Nepal’s Advertising Association and a member in the related sub-committee of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry – the supreme body of all business persons in Nepal. He has been recognized by various bodies in Nepal including the Advertising Association, the association of Nepalese media owners (Media Society, Media Alliance), and his team has – for the past five or more years in a row – consistently bagged the largest advertising contribution awards across all the major TV stations of Nepal!
